A half-day retreat with Adwiti

Heart of
Stillness

A soulful afternoon of qigong, sound healing, and stillness.

Sunday, October 18 1:00 – 5:00 PM Sandy Creek Resort, Elberta, AL

Immerse yourself in a nourishing half-day retreat and gently move into the Heart of Stillness with qigong, meditation, and a deeply relaxing Himalayan sound bath.

Heart of Stillness is four hours to disconnect from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with what's underneath it — the part of you that already knows how to soften without collapsing, how to receive without earning, how to trust without guarantees.

An invitation to stop

You've been holding it all together for so long that you may not even realize how tired you are. Your jaw is tight. Your body is tense. You keep pushing because that's what you've always done.

And maybe this is your invitation to stop for a moment.

What if you didn't have to push so hard anymore? What if the way forward was softer?

The cool, thirst-quenching well of silence exists in the heart of stillness within you. This is where you drink from, where you fill your cup, and where you nourish yourself.

The afternoon

We move through four gates

Participants settling onto mats and cushions around a circle of Himalayan singing bowls.

First gate

Softness

Qigong to release the bracing patterns

Gentle, guided movement to unwind the tension you've mistaken for strength — the tight jaw, the shallow breath, the body that's forgotten how to stand down.

From here, we begin to explore stillness itself: not as the absence of movement, but as a practice your body can learn to return to, long after the retreat ends.

Second gate

Receiving

Himalayan sound healing

The room fills with the resonance of Himalayan singing bowls, each frequency inviting your nervous system to soften without having to do anything at all. You don't have to earn this. You just have to let it reach you.

A quiet journaling space follows, giving whatever surfaced somewhere to land before we come back together.

Third gate

Trust

Silence & integration circle

The quiet after the last bowl fades. A simple circle where one witnessed word is enough — no performance, no polish required.

Fourth gate

The Body

Coming home to yourself

The final gate is you: holding it all, walking out different. Not fixed. Just felt.

No experience needed.
Just willingness to show up and stop performing.

Your guide

Adwiti Subba Haffner

Adwiti was raised in the foothills of the Himalayas, in Darjeeling, where stillness was never a technique. It was just how the mountains taught you to live.

She carried that inheritance into hypnotherapy, sound healing, and somatic qigong, and built the Trillium System™ from a simple discovery: the way home isn't through more effort. It's through remembering what your body never forgot.

I can't wait to hold this space with you.

Before you come

What to bring

Nothing to prepare, fix, or figure out. Just a few things to make the floor comfortable and the sound easy to receive.

  • Journal or notebook, and a pen
  • Yoga mat
  • A washcloth or eye mask, for the sound healing portion
  • A cushion or small pillow, if sitting on the floor isn't comfortable for you
  • A blanket, if you'd like extra warmth or comfort during the sound healing
  • Water bottle
  • An open mind and an open heart
Questions

A few things you might be wondering

I've never done qigong or sound healing before. Is that okay?

Yes. No experience is needed for any part of this retreat, only willingness.

I have an injury or physical limitation. Can I still participate?

Yes. All movement is gentle and can be modified. If you have specific concerns, feel free to reach out before the retreat.

What if I need to leave early or step out during the retreat?

During most of the retreat you're welcome to step out if you need to. The one exception is the sound healing portion — once it begins, we ask everyone to stay in the room until it's complete, so the experience isn't disturbed for others.

Is this retreat religious or affiliated with a specific spiritual practice?

No. Heart of Stillness draws from qigong and Himalayan sound healing traditions, but it isn't tied to any religion. All are welcome.

Let the date sit quietly on your calendar
